As the eldest granddaughter of produce pioneer Dr. Frieda Rapoport Caplan, I’ve been in the produce world since before I could talk—literally. I attended my first trade show at age 2 in a stroller and never really left. You could say fruits and vegetables are part of my DNA.
I joined Frieda’s Branded Produce in 2011 after graduating from George Mason University, proudly becoming the third generation to carry the torch in our family business. I started in marketing, moved into sales in 2014, and quickly found my stride in building partnerships and driving growth. After several years in sales leadership, I stepped into the role of Director of Sales and Procurement—and in 2023, when our 61-year-old company was acquired by Legacy Farms, I was named Vice President of Sales and Procurement.
At my core, I’m a millennial foodie who loves playing with new produce at home, hunting down exciting flavors around the globe, and sharing the joy of fresh food. I live in Los Angeles with my wife Roxanne, our sweet and spirited son Eli, and our produce-named pup, Kiwi.
